It started with a phone that never rang back
The Honest Handyman started with a simple frustration. Good, hardworking tradespeople are out there, but too many never call back, run late without a word, or surprise you with the bill. We thought home repairs should feel easier than that.
So we built the opposite. We’re skilled generalists, which means one reliable person for the whole mixed list of jobs around your home, done neatly and without the runaround.
Three things we never get wrong

It goes into our own system, not somebody's inbox or a WhatsApp thread that scrolls away by Friday. It gets a reference and a status, so it cannot quietly go missing.
The quote is a document, not a number over the phone
Itemised, written down, materials at cost. When you accept it, that same document becomes the job, so the work that happens is the work you agreed to and the invoice matches it.
